How to Look and Feel Like a Million
Chances are that one of your usual New Year’s resolutions is to lose weight and get back to the size you were
when you were younger. So, in January, you started an aggressive diet and exercise plan.
By March, you had resumed your old habits, saying it was just too hard. It doesn’t have to be as difficult as it
may seem to get into the shape that you want. All it takes is to follow some easy tips that will send you on your
way.
One mistake that people make is to take on a program that is too demanding to start with. It may entail extreme
changes in food habits and a time consuming exercise program that’s too difficult to keep up with. Start off
slowly. Don’t try to do more exercise than feels comfortable. This will prevent injury and allow you to get used to
moving body parts that haven’t been used in a while.
Set up your diet and fitness schedule. You can start by eliminating certain fatty and sugary foods the first
week, and then broaden the list each week thereafter.
The same rule should apply to your exercise plan and schedule. Set up times that are realistic, like while you
enjoy your favorite TV shows at night. You’re just sitting there anyway, so get up and move while you watch
television.
Keep track of your weight and inch loss, and pin the results on your refrigerator. Being aware of your progress
will help you to stop needless grazing. If you stay aware of your progress, chances are you will take steps not to ruin it.
Get a fitness buddy that you can team up with to exercise or just lend mutual support as you struggle to
maintain your eating plans. Instead of reaching for a piece of candy, reach for the phone and call your friend
instead. Always eat your breakfast, even if it’s just a bowl of cereal. This lets your body know that it doesn’t
have to stubbornly hold on to fat, because it’s afraid of starvation. Instead, it will rev your metabolism and keep
you from eating too much later in the day.
Don’t entirely cut fat from your diet. There are good fats that will help get rid of the bad ones. Choose canola
and olive oils to cook with. A tasty salad dressing is lemon juice with 2 tablespoons of olive oil. This will help
to lower your cholesterol and make your salad more delicious as well
Replace fattening snacks with a piece of fruit. An orange, apple or peach is naturally sweet and will help curb
your need for sugar. They will also provide important vitamins, minerals and fiber that your body needs and will
speed your weight loss even more. You can even eat Thin N Slim, it works.
There are so many natural products also available now in health supplement form and if you want to be sure that
you know what you or your family need, get the family ebook. It tells you everything about vitamins, minerals and supplements and the foods to eat
that supply them. We found it to be a very much needed family vitamin bible and in addition, on a sister site,
you can get one or more ebooks on many health subjects....
